Carl O’Grady will introduce us to the story of the Pirate Queen, ancient Irish myth stories, the Irish clan system, the Normans, the Tudors, the Great Famine, local traditions of the sea and current life and times on Clare Island. To revive us, Alice at the Clare Island Oven will serve tea or coffee and a homemade treat at the Clare Island Oven. While we enjoy that, Carl will tell us the origin story of how Clare Island Whiskey.
